this game is alot of fun. there is a new charector in town named axl i dont know if he is a boy or girl but thats a japenese game for you. well in gameplay i like this game i bought it a few weeks ago and got stuck so i let the game down and played it again after 2 days. this game is very fun. it has lots of lvls and u get to pick the order. even if u lose u gain a little bit. if u like metal slug and having to rescue the people u will like this game. if your a big fan of good voice acting this isnt your game... BUT gameplay to me is what matters. the goal in this game is to kill all the mavricks (bosses) and then duel the red alert leader a team that has gone evil. axl used to be on that team red alert but escaped and made alot damage. so he has to pay off his duty. this game works for every1 if u like games u pick up only 1nc in awhile this is it. this game is for any ages i think that know what they are doing. this game i highly recomend. also check out other megaman games. my personal faviorte is megamanx collection ( megaman x7 and 8 arnt in the collection it only goes to 1-6. THIS GAME IS WORTH THE MONEY!

this is the worst 3d megaman game I've ever played. the camera angles suck. It is very difficult to see things. The control sucked as well. I regret buying this game.

You people Who dont like this game have problems..Theis Game is awesome So what if you have to unlock X its Really easy Axl is awesome when you get his weapons you get to use double hand guns Zero's hair & Saber are Cool too Graphics Are awesome..I dont care what you people say this game is AWESOME!!!

After dropping the pathetic bombshell that was X6 back in 2001, Capcom finally decided it was time to take the X series to the next level. Unforunately, as if things weren't already bad enough for the series, we all know that Capcom failed to make this conversion as painless as possible, and fans had another half-baked game to add to their Mega Man X gaming collection.
At first glance, Mega Man X7 has eveything one would expect from a Mega Man title. The the cel-shaded graphics are pretty nice to look at, considering X fans are used to looking at 2D sprite graphics. Beyond it's graphical engine, however, X7 does almost everything humanly possible to ruin the rest of the experience for the gamer.
To start off, the load times are way too abundant. Considering this isn't a first generation PSX2 title, and the fact that games like the PSX2 Final Fantasy's have better graphics and faster load times, this is just unexcusable (even if the load screens do act as continue points). Next is the horrendous english voice acting. Considering the fact Capcom conmpletely disrespected US gamers but not even bothering to add english voices to X6, this is a little more tollerable in my book (at least they tried - I guess).
Another gripe is we're still treated to the same still shots and text story scenes as in X5 and X6. I though the jump to a 32-bit system to a 128-bit system would actually mean something here, but no. You'll have to beat the game to see ending - the only VMF in the entire game, excluding the opening.
Gameplay is where Mega Man X7 commits the most serious of its crimes. The 2D sections of the game play well enough, even if the auto-aim is a bit glitchy at times. 3D sections don't even play half as well, as camera problems creep up continously, forcing players to make some jumps completely blind (don't get me started on having to rotate the camera in conjunction to shooting in some boss fights just to see your attacker...). Even worse is the mass of slowdown one will experence, espcially during the boss fights, were the game slows down to a crawl. Level designs are decent, but it is pretty sad considering one can find all the hidden power-ups without much exploration (I didn't even have to consult a guide - I found everything on the first playthough).
Most Mega Man fans will probably buy Mega Man X7 reguardless of what I written above (I still bought it, and I knew what I was getting into). Still, I remember a time when you could say you had beaten all the Mega Man X games and you could say it with pride. Unfortunately, now all it means you have played four good games and four so-so games.

This is by far one of and if the not the greatest MMX game! Controls: 10/10
I have no problems with the control scheme and I can't see how anyone else can claim they have problems with it. View: 9/10
There is a very tiny area in two stages but it is a big enough of a problem to cause any unfair deaths. Graphics 10/10
The graphics inthis game are amazing! Zero's saber and his hair are nicely done, the backgrounds are top noch, X's fully chaged blast looks really nice and the explosions are beautiful. Music 10/10 The music is incredible especially the boss fight music it sounds just like music a move fight would have. The muscic tunes match the mood of each scene nicely and is very nice to listen too. Voices 9/10
Capcom has finally picked some great voice actors outside of the legends series! Lenne Hardt does a good job as Axl with her child like voice, Jack Merluzzi plays an Excellent Zero with his gruff voice, Rumiko Varries dose a decent job as Alia with her warm, compassionate voice, Signas has a decent, calm and collected General voice, Barry Gjerde does an amazing job as Red with his arrogant, calm, and stylish voice, the only one who can match him in voice preformance is Walter Roberts (the voice of Sigma!) Walter Roberts does a irreplacable job as the voice of the decietfull, evil and dark character of Sigma!
The only voice that I hated was the Voice of X. The good news was he dosen't sound like a girl that is high on helium but the bad news is X's "actor" Peter Von Gomm, can't act at all! He sounds like he has an apple caught in his throat and put sandpaper on his toung for good measure! Story: 9/10
The storyline is that X has retired from the hunters and reploid crime and maverick activity has ruled ever since. But a new group of rough vigilantes known as Red Alert have surfaced and began to tearthrough maverick activity with a brutal fist. Soon Red Alert has become known world wide. While Red Alert's vigilante activitys are illigal, the athourty of the group is generaly reconized as offical law since the maverick hunters are in such bad shape from X's retirement. One day a young reploid boy named Axl decide to leave the group. After being found by Zero and taken to the Hunter Base, Red demands that Axl be turned over to him! When the hunters refuse, Red challenges them to a duel. The winner keeps Axl and their method of Justice stays! The only problems with this game are that you have to unlock X be rescuing 64 reploids (simple task)and Alia's speeches after a mission get annoying. Other than that Sit back and Enjoy!
