4 out of 5 stars Especially For Safely Rocking out Loud   August 13, 2008
Since Guitar Hero: On Tour came out for the Nintendo DS, everybody has been finding a secure way to rock out loud with the hot DS title. While there have been so many different cases that have been made for the DS and the DS Lite, there now seems to be more of them that are especially made for Guitar Hero, and this is probably one of the best ones. This Nintendo DS Guitar Hero: On Tour case is made as a new and convient way to securely hold not just the Nintendo DS Lite system, but it also is a new and safe way to store your Guitar Hero DS controller. It is affordable, and easily convient for hard core gamers. Not only that, but you can also setup and store DS add-ons like stylus pens, and you favorite DS titles including Guitar Hero: On Tour. If you've bought Guitar Hero: On Tour for the DS just recently, or are planning to buy the upcoming Guitar Hero: Decades for the DS, than this is the ideal item for you to know that you can easily rock out loud whenever you're on the go.

5 out of 5 stars Awesome!   July 26, 2008

I was finally convinced to buy the DS Lite when they bundled it with the new Guitar Hero; I was totally thrilled when I went looking for a good case, to find this one, made with this bundle in mind. Of course you can use it for any other DS Lite, it just looks much cooler with my DS Lite special Guitar Hero edition inside it.

Looks aside, I've been pretty impressed with the functionality of this case. It holds both the DS Lite and the Guitar Hero controller very securely. It also has more hold slots than it shows in the pictures. There are four game slots as it shows, but up in the right hand corner, there's a slightly larger banded slot that's a perfect fit for the case that holds the Guitar Hero game itself. There are also two more banded (like large fabric rubber bands - a whole lot more secure than it sounds) hold slots that can be used for extra styluses or anything else you might want to put in there. I use them for an extra pen and pencil. Also, while there are only five slots for games, you can, of course, fit six in there by always storing one in the DS Lite itself.

Everything fits snugly and safely while still leaving room in there to toss a few other things if you feel like it. The Nintendo DS Game Card Case isn't a bad idea. One of them with three games will fit in the case easily without banging up against anything else. It won't be secured in there, but so long as you leave the case zipped up, that's not a problem.

If I could add something to this case -- other than more game slots, and all game cases need more of those -- it would be a handle. That's the only thing I really think is missing. I can toss this in a bag/trunk/backpack and go, but just for carting it around short distances, a handle would be good. But that's certainly not enough to take a star away from it. This does even more than it advertises (going just from the pictures), and I'm very, very happy with it. Highly recommended.

5 out of 5 stars Best Carry Case Available   July 19, 2008
I've been shopping for something that will hold my DS and the new Guitar Hero game together in the same case and this little carry case is by far the best looking and clearly the most efficient for holding the game and the system as well as a few more extra games.
